Microcontrollers Lab
EE 308 Labs
Schedule for Spring 2006
Lab grading policy
You will be required to keep a lab book and write
several formal reports. You must leave your lab book in the lab after your
lab session. If you need your lab book before it is graded, you can get it
from the TA. However, you should not remove the lab book from the
lab until graded.
You may use sample
lab guidelines to prepare your lab report. The Wednesday section lab books will be ready for
pickup on Friday. The Monday section lab books will be ready for pickup on
Thursday.
In preparation for the LAB, the PRELAB will be
handed in at the start of the lab.
Your lab grade will be determined as follows:
- 30% your lab book preparation
- 50% your lab book record of your work in
the lab, and ability to function in the lab.
- 20% on the formal reports.
You are responsible for preparing for and
completing the labs, including material which may not have been covered in
class. This is a university environment, and you are expected to have the
maturity to research and read all material you will need. If you don't
understand something, ask for help. There are numerous resources available to
you -- faculty, TA's, lab manager, etc. -- and we are all eager to help you
succeed. However, you must take in initiative to seek help when you need it.
