PRE-LABS AND LAB EXERCISES MUST BE COMPLETED IN A COMP BOOK

Description:

This class is designed to familiarize electrical engineering students with the elementary concepts and lab equipment necessary to succeed in future electrical engineering classes. The students will complete practical exercises which will utilize the EE department's computer and circuits labs.

Homework and pre-lab exercises will be assigned after most lecture periods. Written homework assignments will be due during the first 5 minutes of the next lecture period. A total of two late homework assignments will be accepted with no penalty, but these must be turned in not later than 24 hours after they were originally due. Pre-lab assignments are to be completed before coming to lab, and they are to be submitted in the student's lab notebook with the completed lab at the end of each lab period. Failure to complete pre-lab assignments prior to lab will result in a significant grade reduction for that lab exercise.

Exams wil cover material from lectures, homework, pre-lab, and lab exercises, and reading material.

THERE ARE NO PROVISIONS FOR EXTRA CREDIT OR MAKEUP WORK
