1. Download and compile the Altera program lpt.tdf. Make sure you can simulate the function of the program, and generate a simulation file like this:

   

2. Add to the Altera program an eight-bit data register at address 0x378. The Q outputs of the flip-flops should go to external pins on the Altera chip. Add writing to and reading from the data lines to your simulation.
3. Add to the Altera program five input status lines at address 0x379. These should have the same inversions as on the standard parallel port. Add reading from the status lines to your simulation.
